The trundle is constructed to take a mattress up to 25cms high using solid pine slats 9cm x 3.5cms for mattress support, and can be slept on inside the pop-out space - no need to remove the mattress once rolled out. The top mattress sits in 3cms while the trundle option is perfect for those unexpected guests.!

On the single and double sizes, the trundle takes a single size mattress, while the king single sizes take a king single mattress.
